Every project is different, but the journey usually follows a simple, structured flow. Below is a look at how a typical landscape design comes together from first ideas to a fully buildable plan.
consultation
First, we have a meeting to discuss your vision, lifestyle, and budget. After this consultation with your Principal Landscape Designer, we'll provide a tailored proposal for your approval.
functional design
After a full site assessment, we develop a functional diagram to confirm the layout of key features like entertaining areas, garden beds, and pathways. We also create a style guide and mood board to establish a consistent theme for your space. This step is crucial to ensure your outdoor area flows well, and we work closely with you until you're completely satisfied.
concept plan
Next, we refine your design, positioning all elements precisely using accurate scaled drawings. We work with you to select materials, plants, and finishes that bring your concept to life and suit your space.
hand over package
You'll receive a completed design package, ready to build your dream landscape, which includes your concept plan, planting schedule, material selection and any 3D renders/perspectives.
construction
If you’d like support through to construction, we can connect you with trusted builders in our network who align with the design, budget, and level of detail required. Many clients choose this for a smoother handover — but you're always free to use your own preferred builder.
